We accept the love we think we deserve.

Caught The Perks of Being a Wallflower earlier today! Been waiting for it for more than a year already (remember when I was a HUGE Logan Lerman fangirl? Yeah the moment I got to know he's chosen to act for this, I was already excited!).

This is the very first movie that's based from a novel that I have read (which only made it more exciting). I thought the book's really great. In my imagination, Charlie is a very precious boy. And as a wallflower, he puts everyone's happiness before himself.

After watching the movie, I felt very confused. Maybe because I was thinking too much of what I know was gonna happen. I thought that the movie was VERY emphasized on him and Aunt Helen that I wished they have showed more of the little things that happen to his friends/family (sister getting pregnant, how Sam got to know the truth from the Craig, how Charlie is with his family and cousins, and many more). Many important parts were missing from the movie. It could've been so much better if these things were shown to have a good character build-up of Charlie. He's a very awkward person in the movie and I thought Logan Lerman did very well.

I understand that they have to take out some parts in order to keep it to the time they have set.
Nonetheless, it was alright for me! The casting's good.
Especially love Ezra for being Patrick. So perfect.

I hope this isn't a spoiler because I only mentioned stuff that aren't shown in the movie!
So many great movies this year, don't you think?!
